Pacific Palms Surf Club aims to keep the beach safe for locals and visitors, educates children in surf safety and surf skills and encourages physical and social activities for its members.
Transport Awareness Day
Newcastle Commercial Finance joined the Hunter’s road transport sector in 2012 as a supporter of the Road Transport Awareness day. The event is held on the first Sunday of November each year and highlights the industry’s role within the wider community. The event and has raised more than $1 million for the community’s own Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service.

Twenty times Newcastle Rugby Club Champions, Merewether Carlton Rugby Union Club comprises a colts side, a women’s side and five senior grades.
