Garth has been involved in the Vehicle & Equipment Finance industry for almost 40 years, and for the first half of his journey, Garth worked in Relationship Management & Sales Management roles within the Business Banking & Asset Finance sector.

In 2003, Garth decided to fulfill a long-term ambition to become a Finance Broker and subsequently formed the business known as, Maxilend – specialising in Vehicle & Equipment Finance.

The business grew rapidly and as a result, an opportunity arose to merge with two other successful Newcastle based Finance Brokerages, and in 2004, Garth and his new business partner’s, co-founded Newcastle Commercial Finance (NCF)

NCF quickly established into being one of the largest Commercial & Equipment Finance Brokerages in regional NSW. NCF continues to be a regular Industry Awards in Excellence winner with major Banks & Finance companies.

Outside of NCF World, Garth is an avid sports fan, albeit limited to spectator status these days. Other interests may include Travelling, Cooking, Horse Racing and Beer & Wine Testing
